આજના ભૌતિકવાદી યુગમાં જ્યાં કેવળ પુસ્તકિયું જ્ઞાન પ્રાધાન્ય મેળવી રહ્યું છે, ત્યારે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને 'વિદ્યા' ની સાથે 'સદવિદ્યા' મળે અને 'ભણતર' ની સાથે 'ગણતર' ના પાઠ શીખવા મળે તેવા પવિત્ર ઉદ્દેશ્ય સાથે ઈ.સ. 2001 માં શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ સંસ્કારધામ ગુરુકુળ, ધ્રાંગધ્રાની સ્થાપના કરવામાં આવી હતી. પરમ પૂજ્ય સદગુરુ શ્રી રામકૃષ્ણદાસજી સ્વામી તથા સમગ્ર સંતમંડળના માર્ગદર્શન હેઠળ કાર્યરત આ સંસ્થા માત્ર શિક્ષણનું કેન્દ્ર નથી, પરંતુ જીવન ઘડતરની પાઠશાળા છે. "આજનું બાળક એ આવતીકાલનું ભવિષ્ય છે" એ સૂત્રને સાર્થક કરવા માટે આ ગુરુકુળ છેલ્લા બે દાયકાથી વધુ સમયથી સતત સેવારત છે.
